Repair Sewer Lines Without Digging
Trenchless Sewer Repair or Pipe Bursting
Trenchless Sewer Repair or PIPE BURSTING is a method of replacing buried pipe lines — such as water, sewer, or gas — without the need for a traditional construction trench.
Marv’s Plumbing and Heating has the technology to use trenchless methods like pipe bursting to repair commercial and residential sewer lines. We have reliable and innovative pipe bursting systems. No two projects are the same. Our dedicated team of experts will work with you in order to develop customized solutions to meet your needs. Professional pipe bursting is often considered the “final solution” for severely damaged and fully compromised sewer systems.
At Marv’s Plumbing and Heating we utilize this method whenever possible to repair sewer lines because instead of digging to create a trench and excavating the land, we only have to create less damaging launching and receiving pits. Trenchless pipe bursting is significantly more efficient than traditional digging replacement. It is also safer and more cost effective.
Pipe Bursting is effective because it allows us to increase the capacity of the existing sewer lines and we can perform pipe bursting at a cost which is much less than traditional excavation. Modern pipe bursting can often be completed in a matter of hours.
More efficient and safer than traditional digging replacement operations, today’s trenchless pipe bursting methods make use of mechanically applied force and high-grade bursting heads.
Our technicians only need to dig small holes to locate your existing sewer line but we do not need to excavate the entire area and expose the entire sewer line.
Our tools are designed to handle even the toughest pipe bursting jobs with exceptional performance with features that you will not find on competitive models.
Pipe bursting is an environmentally friendly project because it reduces the amount of excavation and associated surface disruption.
PIPE BURSTING as a method of sewer line repair can be performed the following types of pipes:
- Cast Iron
- PVC pipes
A winch guides the pipe bursting equipment through the damaged host pipe. An expander moves the damaged pipe pieces out of the way and into the surrounding soil. Then the equipment pulls in the new polyethylene pipe.
The Advantages of Pipe Bursting
- A proven less expensive method of sewer line repair.
- Much less intrusive as excavation is not required to access the entire damaged pipe.
- Environmentally Friendly
